About MicroCoulomb

MicroCoulomb is an independent website of electrical unit converters and calculators in American English. It covers charge, current, voltage, power, energy and resistance, shows the formula under every result, and cites the SI definitions it uses. The site is written by the MicroCoulomb editors.

Who writes it

The pages are written and checked by the MicroCoulomb editors, a team and not a named individual. We do not list personal credentials, because none are claimed. If you find a mistake, tell us in the comments on the page and we will correct it.

What the site does not do

Results are theoretical. MicroCoulomb does not give wiring advice, and breaker, wire and plug choices must follow the National Electrical Code and a licensed electrician. Product names and standards mentioned belong to their owners and the site has no affiliation with them.
